Day 1: Cusco – Sihua – Huchuy Qosqo – Aguas Calientes
Start your epic Andean adventure with a 5:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. Feel the city’s energy fade as we drive you through the morning mist to the trailhead. At around 6:30 AM, you’ll begin your 4-hour hike to Huchuy Qosqo, a gem among Incan archaeological sites.
By 10:30 AM, your guided exploration of Huchuy Qosqo begins. Walk through the labyrinth of Inca stonework and discover its unique features and historical importance. Around noon, we’ll start our 2-hour descent to Lamay village. From Lamay, it’s a short drive to Ollantaytambo, where you’ll board the train for Aguas Calientes. Arrive by early evening, check into your pre-arranged accommodation, and perhaps take advantage of the local hot springs before your big day ahead.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Your guided tour of this world-famous archaeological wonder starts at 6:00 AM. You’ll experience the awe of witnessing dawn at this sacred Inca citadel.
After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to explore further. If you’re up for additional adventure and spectacular panoramic views, consider the optional hike up Huayna Picchu mountain (please note this requires an additional fee and advance booking).
Come early afternoon, it’s time to head back. We’ll catch the train to Ollantaytambo, where our vehicle will be waiting for your comfortable return to Cusco. Expect to arrive back at your hotel by late afternoon or early evening, concluding your enriching 2-Day Huchuy Qosqo Trek with Machu Picchu visit.
